Time for another sneak peek! Today's project features the Peachy Keen stamp set and the Gold Metallic Encore Pad that is making a return from the holiday catalog. I just received the gold ink and am wonderfing why in the world I waited...loving it!
The Tag-a-Bag kraft bags make the perfect holder for a set of note cards or another small gift for a friend. I was able to quickly pull together this little gift bag. There is such a contrast between the shining gold ink, the linen thread, and the kraft bags...very different styles and yet they all work together! Take a closer look:
All of the smaller pieces on the tag had their edges dipped into the top of the ink pad -- this makes the card elements pop!
For the large piece of Calypso Coral card stock, I inked up my brayer and rolled it across the surface. This technique gives a little shimmer and shine and a vintage feel. It is a little tricky to see, but look right around the Peonies and Paper Chains watermark.
The package was tied up in a bow with Linen Thread. The only thing inside it right now is a small stack of envelopes so I need to re-open before giving...time to get moving on making the contents.
Today is Tuesday and that means new weekly deals and new digital downloads from Stampin' Up! I'm always excited to see what they are...how about you?
Tomorrow I will be sharing more sneak peeks and announcing Occasions catalog product shares -- don't miss out! What a fun way to start the New Year!
And the next day is the start of another Pals Paper Arts challenge! It's a color challenge...my favorite!
Thanks for stopping by for a little papercrafting inspiration! See you again soon!
