Hello there friends. I'm delivering on that promise to share some cards made from elements of the Heartfelt Banner kit. Hopefully you saw the St. Patrick's Day banner that I made with the rest of the kit! The four cards that I am sharing were made in about 30 minutes time...quick and easy!
Now I should tell you that part of what made this so quick and easy is the fact that I used the 3-1/2" x 5" note cards...the ones that come pre-scored with matching Whisper White envelopes. These definitely speed the creative process.
The card backgrounds were created by using a brayer to apply Calypso Coral ink...again, quick to do to! And I personally love the variation in color.
All of the stamps come from the Lots of Thanks stamp set and the ink is Early Espresso.
The other card elements -- the printed papers and doilies are pieces from the Heartfelt Banner Kit. That kit is one of the Sale-a-bration exclusive items! See the Stampin' Up! suggested banner here.
Would you believe it if I told you I still have mnore pieces of the kit? It is true! I have a few doilies left and the 7 mini wooden clothespins. Time to figure out what to do with those!
How would you approach the Heartfelt Banner kit? Assemble the kit as shown by Stampin' Up! or create a set of cards and a banner as I have done? Maybe you have other ideas altogether! Whatever direction you choose, there's no wrong answer!
