Happy Friday, friends! Today is Valentine's day and it seems like the perfect day to share some stamping love. You won't be seeing a single project from me today, but rather a series of cards created by local stamping friends!
Each month I hold a "First Friday" stamping gathering and participants usually make a few cards and/or tags that I designed. This month I changed things up a bit as the event fell on the same day at the opening ceremonies for the Olympics. I shared a cool embossing technique (I'll be sharing it with you here on the blog real soon) and then let them create cards freestyle with a handful of supplies that I brought. The only designer series paper on hand was Sweet Sorbet and it was used on every card.
Here are some of the beautiful creations from that night:
The silver medallion you see on Dawn and Laura's cards are what I will be sharing with you soon!
These are all quick and easy and CASE-able cards -- I think everyone pout theirs together within about 20 minutes time. Please feel free to leave comments as I am confident everyone will see this post!
For those who'd like a fix of sweet Valentine's cards today, head over to the Stampin' Up! blog to see some treats that were shared at the office! I'm especially loving the monster box, "like the way you roll", and Julie's super sweet and simple heart punch tag.
Thanks so much for stopping by today ! So glad to have the opportunity to share this stamping love with all of you! And a special thanks to Dawn, Emily, Amanda, Kim, Laura, and Sue for letting me share your creations with everyone...hats off to each of you on your sweet cards!
Enjoy your day!
