Hello friends! If you love flowers and want to be able to create some using paper and minimal tools, I have two photo tutorials that should help get you crafting! The flowers I am showing today are ones that I used for the wreath during Tuesday's blog hop.
Up first is the scalloped flower -- you need three different size scallop punches, a bone folder, paper snips, and your paper piercing tool. You'll also want to pull out cardstock and a mini brad. Here goes...
And, to make the fringed flower, you need a 2.5" by 10 or 12" strip of designer series paper, fringed scissors (or paper snips), and sticky strip -- truly, that is it!
The concept behing the fringed flower is from Stampin' Up! -- the Burlap and Blooms Wreath Kit contains several flowers like this. Those ones don't require the cutting...just the assembling!
So tell me, will you be giving these flowers a try?
Hope you have something enjoyable in the works for the weekend! Happy Day!
